Foliedoek VAR

VAR-SA Membrane is a self-adhesive membrane for sealing windows and frames in solid construction, suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Manufactured from a combination of PES and PA, it provides a durable, water- and airtight seal. One side is coated with a high-performance acrylic adhesive with high initial tack and protected by a multi-section release liner. This allows quick installation and reliable adhesion, even on challenging substrates such as concrete, timber and calcium silicate masonry, while promoting a good connection between the membrane and subsequent plasterwork.

Applications:

• Suitable for reliable interior or exterior sealing around aluminium, timber, PU and PVC joinery, curtain wall systems, external façade insulation systems and window/door frames.
• Creates an airtight connection and helps prevent the penetration of air or moisture at these critical junctions.

Properties:

• Suitable for both interior and exterior sealing.
• High-performance self-adhesive surface.
• No additional adhesive required, allowing very fast and efficient installation.
• Most of the adhesive strength develops within approximately 60 minutes.
• Easy to install, including on challenging substrates.
• Can be plastered over.
• A 20 mm acrylic adhesive strip can be provided on the plasterable section (VAR-SA Plus version).
