Sili 1020

Sili 1020 is a high-quality, neutral-curing silicone sealant specially suitable for mould-resistant joint sealing. It cures through atmospheric moisture to form a durable, permanently elastic rubber.

Applications:

• Particularly suitable for mould-resistant sealing between components in sanitary and wet areas, including washbasins, shower trays and screens, baths, tiles, panels, toilets, worktops, steam cabins and refrigerated or freezer units.
• For bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, showers, washrooms, saunas, slaughterhouses, cold rooms and freezer rooms.
• Sealing connection and expansion joints between concrete, stone, masonry, plastics, PC, PVC, PMMA, metal, stainless steel, wood, coated and anodised aluminium, composites and glass in façade, wall, floor, ceiling and roof constructions.
• Top and heel sealing in glazing systems in accordance with NEN 3576 / NPR 3577.
• Durable elastic sealing of frames, façades, windows, panels, sheet materials, profiles, mouldings, prefabricated elements and other façade and building components.
• Silicone-based repair sealant for glazing, façade, sanitary and other joints.

Properties:

• Durably and permanently elastic with a maximum movement capability of 25%.
• Excellent application properties, smooth extrusion, good body and slow skin formation.
• Excellent primerless adhesion to most porous and non-porous substrates.
• Neutral, low-odour, MEKO-free, acid-free and shrink-free curing; CE-certified silicone system.
• Mould-resistant in accordance with ISO 846.
• Non-corrosive to metals.
• Meets the requirements for burglar-resistant glazing in accordance with the Dutch Police Quality Mark for Secure Housing.
• Free from solvents and/or organic plasticisers.
• Very low emissions, certified in accordance with VOC emission class A+.
• Good resistance to colour change, UV, weather, water, moisture, cleaning agents and ageing.
• Compatible with direct contact with food, PVB film in laminated glass and the edge seals of insulating glass units.
